EPIPHONE Limited Edition Peter Frampton Les Paul Custom PRO Ebony
Limited Peter Frampton "Phenix" Signature Les Paul with ProBucker and Ceramic PRO pickups and Grover Rotomatics, including certificate
With the Epiphone Peter Frampton Les Paul Custom PRO limited to 900 copies, Epiphone Peter Frampton presents Peter Frampton's legendary "Phenix" with triple humbucker equipment and traditional LP custom appointments. The classic of rock history to be heard on the rock bestseller 'Frampton Comes Alive!' was recreated with an authentic custom "Phenix" neck profile for an unmistakable feeling and the sound of two Epiphone ProBuckers and a Ceramic PRO Humbucker for the full sound of the original. Last but not least, this limited edition of the Peter Frampton Les Paul Custom comes with Peter's signature logo on the back of the headstock and an Epiphone Certificate of Authenticity.
The Epiphone Peter Frampton Les Paul Custom, limited to 900 pieces, with triple humbucker equipment and LP custom appointments corresponds to the legendary "Phenix".
1954 Les Paul Custom Construction
The basic construction of the Epiphone Peter Frampton Les Paul Custom PRO is based on a 1954 LP Custom construction with mahogany body and glued maple top. Thanks to Weight Relief, the Epiphone Peter Frampton Les Paul is not only lighter on the belt, but also corresponds to the weight of the unusually light original for 1954 Les Paul Custom models. Also the custom "Phenix" neck profile is based on the classic fat shaping of the '54 LP Custom to evoke authentic fifties feeling in all registers, while the long neck tenon glued under the neck pickup provides additional resonance and improved response.
Epiphone ProBucker & Ceramic PRO Pickups
The probably clearest trademark of the Peter Frampton Les Paul Custom is its triple humbucker equipment, which can be found in the Epiphone Limited Edition Peter Frampton Les Paul. Two Epiphone ProBucker-2 and ProBucker-3 pickups are used in the neck and bridge position, while the slightly hotter Ceramic PRO humbucker operates the bridge position. The neck and bridge pickups are controlled by the 3-way toggle and the upper volume and tone controls, while the lower controls operate the center humbucker alone so that it can be faded in at any switching position if required.
