Besides the typical custom appointments in the form of elaborate bindings, elegant Inlays and gold-plated Hardware, the top made of magnificent koa wood transforms the electric guitar into an absolute eye-catcher. While the mahogany body and the slim taper neck give the typical Les Paul feeling, Epiphone probucker pickups provide solid blues and rock sounds in best PAF tradition. Last but not least, a LockTone bridge with matching tailpiece and precise Grover Rotomatic tuners complete the Les Paul CustomKoa from Epiphone.

In building the Les Paul CustomKoa , Epiphone combines the traditional mahogany body in Singlecut design with an impressive top made of precious koa wood, whose magnificent grain makes each guitar unique. The glued mahogany neck in the pleasantly flat "Slim Taper" profile also conveys comfortable playing characteristics up to the highest positions of the ebony fingerboard.
Epiphone probucker pickups and traditional circuitry promise lively clean and overdrive tones with authentic PAF character.
Probucker Pickups
As pickup for the Les Paul CustomKoa Epiphone naturally chooses a Set of the award-winning probuckers, whose gold-plated caps emphasize the elegant look. With a cultivated Probucker 2 in neck position and the hotter Probucker 3 at the bridge, the electric guitar delivers a powerful sound with dignified vintage PAF coloring, which is ideally suited for clean or distorted sounds between Blues and rock. The pickups are controlled via a 3-way circuit with their own volume and tone controls.
Grover Rotomatic tuners with fine 18:1 ratio guarantee accurate and stable tuning of the guitar.
Reliable hardware equipment
Of course, Epiphone completes the Les Paul CustomKoa with reliable Hardware in an elegant gold finish. The LockTone stopbar, securely locked onto the retaining pins, guides the strings over an equally lockable LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, which guarantees precise adjustment of intonation and string action. The Epiphone Kalamazoo style headstock also features Grover Rotomatic tuners with 18:1 ratios to ensure accurate and robust tuning of the electric guitar.
