The Epiphone J-45 EC Studio VS Electro Acoustic Guitar in Vintage Sunburst sounds just as good as it looks. Built on advanced jumbo body design, the depth of the body and the width of the shoulders create a large sound chamber, presenting tone that is full, deep, and loud.
At the heart of this Epiphone acoustic-electric guitar is the integrated electronics, letting you plug in and amplify quickly and painlessly. The Nanoflex pickup is capable of conveying all the harmonic and organic dimensions of the acoustic sound spectrum. Nanoflex pickups produce an open sound, conveying natural harmonic overtones. Shadow developed a unique technology that amplifies and shields directly at the pickup.
This innovative technology keeps loss of sound at an absolute minimum and guarantees a signal that is completely free of noise. The Epiphone J-45 EC Studio VS guitar's preamp includes master volume, high EQ, low EQ, phase reversal, chromatic tuner, and dynamics controls to dial in your ideal amplified guitar voice.
The mahogany back and sides paired with a solid Sitka spruce top brings out rich harmonics, lots of projection, and clarity in tone. A glued neck joint keeps the Epiphone acoustic guitar's neck and body stable, without losing any subtleties in tone. The mahogany neck adds strength, as the wood is quite durable and will stand up to the elements. The rosewood bridge and fretboard produces lasting sustain, in a deep appearance.
Dressed in a polyurethane finish and featuring such desirable appointments as Grover tuners and nickel hardware, this acoustic guitar will sound excellent for a very long time.

I was looking for an acoustic or electro-acoustic guitar and after checking out a few models on here I settled on the AJ-220SCE. I watched many different YouTube videos on it and liked the sound I heard so pulled the trigger and bought it. What a bargain price it is too. It looks great and sounds great acoustically and plugged in. The in-built tuner makes it incredibly easy to tune up and comes with 2xAAA batteries, not flat lithiums as I was expecting as per the YouTube videos I saw. I am really pleased with this guitar and intend to keep it for many years to come.
