The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson ES-335 Figured (Blueberry Burst) is a 6-String Electric Guitar taken from the Inspired by Gibson Series, and an ES Original. The ES-335 Figured is a Semi-Hollow model that employs a selection of classic woods, official forms and high-quality components to meet the high standards of the original. 2x Alnico Classic Pro Humbuckers provide a wide sonic bandwidth with a warm and resonant semi-hollow character, whilst the Mahogany Neck with its authentic Rounded-C Neck Profile gives you a pure ES feeling. The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson ES-335 Figured also has a lot to offer in terms of Hardware, with the resonant combination of LockTone Bridge and Stop-Bar alongside a Graph Tech Saddle.
Semi-Hollow Body with AAA Flamed Maple Veneer
The classically designed ES-335 Figured consists of a Laminated Maple Body and is finished with a harmonious AAA-Quality Flamed Maple Veneer, whose Grain and Transparent Finish create a noble look. The famous Centre-Block makes the ES construction less susceptible to Feedback and allows the Semi-Hollow classic to easily handle even the most demanding situations. Mounted using a traditional glue joint, the Mahogany Neck and authentic Rounded-C Profile offers the best playability and a high haptic recognition value for die-hard Gibson fans.
Alnico Classic Pro Humbucker
2x Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro Humbuckers in Neck and Bridge Position are responsible for the output of the ES-335 Figured and skilfully cover an enormous variety of sonic possibilities. The twin Coils, which are clearly based on the legendary PAF Humbuckers of the coveted Gibson models, deliver a defined Mid-Range with moderate presence and allow the warm character of the Semi-Hollow Construction to flow into the Sound Image. Both Pick-Ups have separate Volume and Tone Controls from the US electronics expert CTS.
I’ own some guitars that cost 3 times the price and one that costs 6 times as much, and this one looks, sounds and plays as good as any of them.
So pleased I bought iThe Gibson version would have to be something very special to justify choosing it whichever one you choose, the 335 has blown me away.
