The Epiphone 1984 Explorer EX 6-String Electric Guitar in Alpine White is an updated version of a classic design that is much loved by both rock and metal players alike.
The Epiphone 1984 Explorer EX features a Mahogany body that has been carved into a furturistic and radical shape that was first introduced back in 1958. The body is joined by a set SlimTaper “D” profile Mahogany neck that is fast and easy to play, one of the key reasons to the model being as popular as it is. The neck is topped by a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays and is finished off with a classic Explorer headstock painted in black.
The body of the Epiphone 1984 Explorer EX electric guitar is equipped with a pair of powerful active pickups, an EMG-85 at the neck and an EMG-81 in the bridge position, a setup that is more than capable of producing the high-gain tones this guitar deserves. These are joined by a simple control system consisting of master volume and tone controls and a three-way pickup selector switch.
Rounding out the hardware compliment of the Epiphone 1984 Explorer EX 6-string electric guitar is a LockTone tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece and a set of Grover tuners, all finished in black.
The main features of the Epiphone 1984 Explorer EX 6-String Electric Guitar in Alpine White include:
This guitar is the perfect instrument for me and suits me perfectly as it is the instrument one of my favorite guitar players own. My stile is hard rock, metal and more. The used amps are a Randall rgh150w valve dynamic head with 4x12 cabinet loaded with 2x12 Vintage 30s and 2x12 rockets. The pick ups are dead silent and have the ability to reproduce the full Spectrum of the sound. The 85 situated on neck position gives that warm and fat clean while giving room for more exotic solos or rhythmic parts, has prefect mids and lows, sorta lacks in the high pitched area but still is better than many of the pick ups on the market. The 81 in the bridge position and is high gain high pitched pick ups, has the same spectrum as the 85 but with more saturated highs. From blues to trash and dead this guitar with that hardware can reproduce anything.
This guitar is awesome. Sound is great. Finger board is rosewood, its so good but fingerboard a little thick than solo guitars.Hardware is rock solid.Maybe change emg85 with emg 60 I order from Turkiye, It took a month to arrive. I paid tax %18 of invoice for customs. Feel free to cargo, it comes with 2 boxes.
I really love the Explorer design and always wanted one. But all the ones that were out didnt quite match my liking.

Until this one came around. Its an absolute beauty. The finish I would say its perfect. Everything looks slick. I love the weight of it, it fits me really nice.

Well everything went smooth with the shipping. It arrived 1 day before scheduled which is nice :D everything in great condition and the box is nicely protected. I checked the guitar to see if there was anything but nothing. not even a single scratch. good job MS and Epiphone.
This guitar is a 5 star for me.
The guitar arrived but didnt work... the toggle and volume knob just were totally disconnected, and the pick ups have a wiring problem as well, making it sound weak basicallu useless. Still havent gotten an answer about it
