With the Electro Voice PXM-12MP, Electro Voice presents a powerful active monitor for DJs, solo entertainers or bands. The active monitor has a coaxially arranged 12" woofer and a 1.75" high frequency driver. The Class-D amplifier, co-developed by Dynacord, has a power output of 700 watts, providing enough power to meet even the most demanding monitoring requirements. The maximum sound pressure level is 129dB. Thanks to the balanced 90° x 90° dispersion pattern, the user can experience a solid, even dispersion, ensuring that his mix is heard clearly and distinctly. The 55° monitor angle allows the user to stand as close or as far as possible from the Electro Voice PXM-12MP monitor without compromising intelligibility.
The Electro Voice PXM-12MP is equipped with QuickSmart DSP, which can be easily adjusted via the display and the rotary knob. The DSP provides four presets, sub/top system match, three-band EQ, five user-programmable presets, adjustable low-cut filters, and a tunable feedback notch filter. The active monitor features two XLR/TRS combo inputs, a stereo RCA input, an XLR-THRU input and an XLR MIXOUT output. The monitor housing is made of 15 mm plywood and has a sturdy powder-coated steel grille. The integrated cable management makes it easier to route cables on stage and prevents dangerous tripping hazards. The Electro Voice PXM-12MP is also flexible and can be used as fill or delay or on a stand.
