A link between the EHX classics Freeze and Superego, the Electro Harmonix Pico Deep Freeze offers interesting sustain and layering effects. The compact effect pedal from Electro Harmonix freezes individual sound snippets in time and lets notes and chords decay longer to create interesting sounds or to use them as backing for lead vocals. In addition, the Pico Deep Freeze offers settings for the attack and decay behaviour and three different modes: Latch and Moment determine the operation of the footswitch and switch between classic switching and momentary operation, while Auto automatically holds signal components as soon as the signal reaches a certain strength.
