Electro Harmonix POG2 Polyphonic Octave Generat or Guitar Effects Pedal
Just got this thing a few weeks ago. I love it! Im addicted to this since day one.
It can be very subtle, adding a really nice tone to my guitar, or it can "sing" on its own. Lots of knobs to mess with, so be prepared to spend some time getting the right settings for your sound.
As an experienced player I tend not to use too many effects, just those that really add up to my personal tone. My guitar sound is unique and it pretty much is all about my guitars my amp and me. This pedal adds a little extra in my rocknroll licks. I really love it.
I bought this pedal to use for my bass guitar. I was a little hesitant with the price tag but it was worth it. This pedal does what it is suppose to do, the controls are very easy to use is capable of a wide range of octave effects. The POG2 is an amazing pedal that will allow you to create a wide variety of sounds. From regular octave sounds, to synth sounds, violin, cello, flute, pipe & Hammond organs,12 string guitar and more... and do them very well !! Also, the tracking is fantastic and of course polyphonic. Great sounds are easy to program in and save.
I recommend this to someone looking for a effect with plenty of unique and fun capabilities!!
