It retains the beloved sweet-singing, violin-like sustain while offering the flexibility to produce modern, aggressive tones with the Gate and Attack controls. The standout feature is the foot-switchable mids section, which includes a high/low Q-factor and a tunable mid filter, allowing for a more assertive and customisable sound. For those who want even more control, an optional expression pedal can be used to adjust the mids center frequency in real-time during live performances. Additionally, the Deluxe Big Muff Pi includes three internal trim pots that can be fine-tuned for personal preference: High Q Bandwidth, High Q Output Volume, and Overall Mids Output Volume.
