The Electro Harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi is the undisputed fuzz flagship of the effect company from New York and delivers extremely versatile bass sounds with the typical Muff character. The pedal offers a wide range of options for adjusting the perfect sound.

Analog circuitry with versatile muff sound

Inspired by the coveted black-finished Big Muff from the Russian Sovtek factory, the Deluxe Bass Big Muff's analog circuitry delivers extremely powerful bass tones with smooth sustain and deep low end. Controls for Sustain, Tone and Volume provide the usual control over the sound of the distortion.

Blend Control and Noise Gate

The Deluxe Bass Big Muff's Blend control blends the juicy fuzz with the clean bass signal on demand, so that even at high gain the lowest frequencies are presented with punch and articulation. The noise gate with adjustable threshold also suppresses unwanted hiss and ambient noise.

Crossover Mode

One of the highlights of the EHX Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi is the Crossover mode, which significantly expands its sonic versatility. With separately adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters, the bass sound can be adjusted especially precisely when the crossover is switched on.

Versatile connections

Last but not least, the Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi offers a variety of connections that facilitate the integration of the pedal into the bass rig. For example, in addition to the normal jack output, there is a balanced XLR DI Out that passes the signal on to mixing consoles or recording equipment. In addition, the dry input signal can be taken via the Direct Out to supply additional effects chains or a second bass amp.
