The ultimate expansion for more input channels: The EVO SP8 is the perfect expansion for the successful EVO 16 interface, but is also suitable for all other audio interfaces with free ADAT interfaces. EVO 16 users get with the EVO SP8 the possibility to expand their interface to eight microphone or line channels without having to give up the innovative and popular Smartgain function.

Larger sessions require more channels, and expanding an existing audio interface via ADAT is a cost-effective solution for expanding your recording capabilities. EVO SP8 offers eight mic/line inputs, eight line outputs, and 2 x ADAT I/O connections, providing enough ports to easily handle multi-microphone sessions such as drum recording or recording a full band.

Eight sonically impressive EVO preamps effortlessly level your recordings and deliver superb resolution and transparency. The analogue EVO mic preamps are designed to deliver the most accurate, cleanest, and most faithful version of your audio, no matter what you're recording. In addition, the harmonically rich JFET instrument inputs provide the right foundation for a monstrous guitar sound. They are designed to emulate the input stage of a classic tube amplifier, providing an ideal sonic foundation for further processing with guitar simulations or re-amping techniques.

The total gain changer

Smartgain makes recording drums and larger sessions a breeze. At the touch of a button, all 8 channels are automatically levelled as needed. The software analyzes all peaks and the average level in seconds, setting the Preamp to the optimal gain level - all in less than 20 seconds! In combination with an EVO 16 you get up to 24 channels with Smartgain function, which saves you a lot of time when levelling. So you can fully concentrate on the creative process.
