The ESP LTD XJ-1 Hardtail Black Blast is a version of the famous offset classic that has been completely trimmed for brute metal sounds. While the resonant swamp ash body has ergonomic contours with a generously cut Cutaway and comfortable tummy cut, the thin 'U' neck made of three strips of maple offers the best conditions for neat shredding and tight rhythms. The output is provided by a single Fishman Fluence Classic humbucker in the bridge position. An alternative voicing is available via the push/pull function to elicit additional sound facets from the straightforward pickup configuration if required.
