The ESP LTD SC-20 Sonic Blue Stephen Carpenter Signature from the Japanese guitar company is a reiusse of the first Signature model from the Deftones lead guitarist. Based on the 1999 specifications, this six-string comes in a neck-thru design with a full-length maple neck and alder body wings, while the slender "Thin U" profile offers the best playability over the macassar ebony fretboard. The unusual pickup configuration of a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker at the bridge, an ESP Designed LH-150 humbucker in the center position and an ESP Designed LS-120N single-coil at the neck that the ESP LTD SC-20 features delivers a particularly versatile sound spectrum for first-class clean and distortion sounds. In addition to the adjustable TonePros locking bridge, behind which the strings are guided through the body, the ESP LTD SC-20 Sonic Blue Stephen Carpenter Signature is equipped with precise LTD locking tuners.
