Modern Singlecut guitar with versatile sound and first-class handling.
The ESP LTD EC-1000T Charcoal Burst is a modern designed Singlecut electric guitar whose metier is undoubtedly the versatile sounds of blues, rock and metal. Based on the popular Eclipse design of Tokyo Company, the set-thru construction guitar not only features a mahogany body with full thickness and chic maple top, but also excellent playable mahogany neck in fast "Thin U" profile. As pickup also Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic active humbuckers are used, which with three distinct voicings provide a rich repertoire of sounds for soulful cleans and juicy high-gain distortion. Last but not least, ESP completes the LTD EC-1000T CharcoalBurst electric guitar with Locking bridge and Tailpiece from TonePros as well as tuning stable locking tuners.
The ESP LTD EC-1000T Charcoal Burst convinces not only with a dignified look, but also with first-class playing and sound characteristics.
In addition to the full thickness mahogany body, the EC-1000T features a three-piece glued mahogany "Thin U" neck.
Set-Thru Eclipse with full body thickness.
The elaborate set-thru design of the LTD EC-1000T skillfully combines modern handling with a particularly powerful and sustain-rich sound. In addition to the "Full Thickness" mahogany body, whose thickness matches that of classic vintage designs, and the chic maple top, the Singlecut guitar features a three-piece mahogany neck glued deep into the body and a Macassar ebony fingerboard. While the fast "Thin U" neck profile and smooth neck-to-body transition promise top-notch playing characteristics from the lowest to the highest register, the virtually wear-free extra jumbo stainless steel frets make any bending glide like on rails.
Active Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic humbuckers with three voicings provide a particularly rich sound spectrum at the guitar amplifier.
Fishman Fluence Open Core Pickups
The electrical sound conversion of the LTD EC-100 CharcoalBurst takes over a Set of the hip Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic humbuckers. Due to the special construction the active Alnico-V-pickups offer three characterful voicings, and almost every tone between glassy clean, creamy Overdrive and burning Distortion can be realized. While Voicing 2, which is set as the standard, delivers a completely hot-rodded sound with accentuated vocal mids and enormous tightness, Voicing 1, which can be accessed via the Push/Pull switch in the Tone knob, stands for particularly warm vintage tones with moderate output. Voicing 3, on the other hand, which is called up via the push/pull switch of the Neck Volume control, promises absolutely authentic single coil sounds with lively dynamics and bell-bright sound development. The pickups of the electric guitar are also controlled via a 3-way switch, individual volume pots for each pickup and a general treble control.
LTD Locking Tuner with practical clamping function for the strings keep the LTD EC-1000T securely in the correct tuning.
TonePros Bridge and Locking Tuner
Of course ESP completes the LTD EC-1000T CharcoalBurst with a well thought-out hardware equipment, which more than meets professional demands on function and reliability. From the TonePros stop bar, which is firmly locked on its screw bolts, the strings run over a likewise lockable TonePros LockingTune-O-Matic bridge, whose six individually adjustable string saddles guarantee exact adjustment of intonation and string action, even with thick strings and low tunings. On the headstock, LTD Locking tuners promise not only precise tuning with unshakable stability, but also comfortable string changes at record speed.
Out of the box, the EC-1000 strikes with the quality of the finish. The fretwork, the body and neck binding, the factory setup (a very low action) are really impressive, considering the price. I had an EC-256 and the finish was correct but far from perfect. This EC-1000 comes from the Korean factories, you definitely notice the difference. The tuners feel sturdy and are very precise. The guitar stays in tune. The sound is fantastic. The EMG pickups are of course very punchy, but the sustain is also very good. The satin finish gives the neck a very comfortable feeling as well. I've alternated my Gibson LP Tribute and the EC-1000, apart from the fact that the pickups are very different, from a lutherie quality perspective I would say that in terms of finish and feel, the Ltd EC-100 is as good, if not better than a Gibson Studio/Tribute.

This is a great guitar! These SD pickups are so versatile, you can certainly play from jazz to metal, which was one of the main reasons why I bought this instrument and because it looks great and I fell in love with it. Playability is great, great low action, thin but very fast and confortable neck, good fretwork, easy accessible high frets, stable tuning and great intonation. Played it live a fair amount of times and had no problems. After some use the strap button came a little loose but just a bit of wood glue did the job and never had a problem again. It is simply an excellent instrument. Highly recommend it.

My first LTD guitar and I am mightily impressed. Amazing sound and tone, comfortable to play, quality hardware, fairly priced and beautifully finished. I'm struggling to say anything negative about it. If you are considering this guitar I can highly recommend it. I can also highly recommend dv247 who shipped the guitar to me in just a few days - even in these difficult times of lockdown

Really happy with this guitar. Finish, bindings etc are flawless. The binding colour is more orange than the yellow in the product pictures. I prefer the orange. It’s a really effortless guitar to play. Neck is quick, but feels substantial. Guitar is noticeably lighter than other Les Paul types that I’ve previously played.
