The ESP LTD BUZ-7 See Thru Black Buz McGrath Signature guitar was crafted in close collaboration with the versatile lead guitarist of the Boston metalcore institution Unearth. Designed to be the ultimate tool for virtuoso high-speed solos and tight riffing, this guitar features an intricate neck-through construction with fast "Extra Thin Flat" neck, ensuring smooth playability and effort less execution of modern playing techniques. Equipped with Fishman Fluence SRC Signature pickups, it delivers bone-rattling tones with a powerful low end and imoressive clarity. Completing the setup a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Double-Locking Tremolo and Grover tuners provide outstanding tuning stability and performance.

Tailored perfectly for the intricate lead and rhythm playing of modern metalcore, the LTD BUZ-7 combines a punchy tone – precisely capturing even the the low B string with agile playability. The classic 25.5" scale length (648 mm) of the expertly crafted neck-through 7-string guitar design, together with the flat and thin profile of the full-length maple-walnut neck, ensure top-tier performance and easy access to the highest registers on the Macassar ebony fretboard. The alder body wings are topped with a striking Quilted Maple veneer, adding a dark yet elegant aesthetic to this instrument.

To achieve cutting-edge metal tones with precise string articulation – even in drop tunings – Buz McGrath relies on active Fishman Fluence SRC Signature pickups with ceramic magnets at the bridge and alnico magnets at the neck for his LTD BUZ-7 guitar. These modern humbuckers offer two distinct voicings that can be switched via push/pull switch on the volume control and either evoke the crisp tone of tightly tuned active pickups or the organic pressure and fluid feel of traditional overwound humbuckers. In addition to the volume knob, the LTD BUZ-7's straightforward circuitry features a 3-way pickup selector switch.
