The ESP E-II Horizon-III convinces with first-class playing comfort and versatile sounds.
Full-length neck with high playing comfort
The heart of the ESP E-II Horizon-III FR See Thru Black is without a doubt the continuous neck. Made of three stripes of maple and held in the fast "Thin U"-profile, it turns out to be the perfect race track for all speedy fingers, so that between the 24 frets of the ebony fingerboard every tricky lick comes out of the fingers almost by itself. Alder wings are also glued to the neck, the wide cutaways of which allow unimpeded access over the entire neck. Last but not least, the curly maple top gives the ESP E-II Horizon III a timelessly elegant look.
Seymour Duncan Pickups for hot sounds
The electrical sound conversion of the ESP E-II Horizon-III FR is done by a perfectly tuned humbucker pair from Seymour Duncan. At the bridge, the Seymour Duncan TB-14 Custom 5 convinces with an extremely hot sound that neatly emphasizes every touch with tight basses, a reduced mid-range spectrum and brilliant highs, inviting you to virtuoso high gain solos. The Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz on the neck delivers a glassy humbucker sound that makes every note sing with a clear voice. A push/pull switch in the volume control also enables coil split, providing additional authentic single coil sounds.
Floyd Rose Tremolo and Gotoh Locking Tuner
As a real shredder guitar, the ESP Horizon-III FR See Thru Black is of course equipped with the Floyd Rose Original Double Locking Tremolo, which takes even the most extensive Whammy Bar actions in the form of dive bombs or squeals without detuning. In addition, Gotoh MG-T locking mechanisms are mounted on the headstock, making the next string change child's play.
