With the EMG GZR P, Rob Turner's pickup company is tailoring a passive split coil for Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler. The declared goal of the pickup is to create the classic P bass vintage tone and feeling of the early Sabbath recordings of the seventies like'Paranoid' or'War Pigs'. The GZR P features traditional Alnico V magnets and specially wound coils for the right amount of punch and grit and of course an ideal balance between GZR P and GZR J pickup.
