With the EMG ALX HOB 'Halo Alexi Laiho of Blood' Set , EMG the songwriter, vocalist and fingerboard magician of the Finnish cult band Children of Bodom, who has been active for more than 20 years now, has a tailor-made pickup. Alexi "Wildchild" Laiho uses the sound combination of passive Humbucker and an ABQ Preamp including Preamp output Boost , which can be activated by push/pull potentiometer. This Set is delivered with Alexis's preferred voicing, but can also be adjusted for individual resonance frequencies via three toggle switches.
