The MIDIclock+ from E-RM is the ingenious and simple solution for all timing issues between DAW and hardware sequencers. The connected sequencers are synchronized to either MIDI or DinSync via the two parallel five-pin sockets without jitter. The MIDIclock+ can also be operated without a computer, as it can generate its own tempo to one decimal place. The separately available Modular Whip can be used to synchronize and reset analogue sequencers and/or sequencers in the modular system.

Practical helper

Restarting (resynchronizing) a MIDI/DinSync slave instrument in "running mode" is often useful when a pattern or program change forces a stop, the groove sampler is reloaded, an incorrectly set loop point causes offbeats or another musician joins the live performance later. The Midiclock+ can also be used wonderfully to create an arc of suspense by simply taking out the entire drum machine for the break and starting it up again at the right moment.
