An alder body and bolt-on maple neck form the basis for the crisp and lively sound of the Starplayer Special. The medium D neck profile also ensures pleasant playing characteristics up to the highest positions of the rosewood fingerboard.

Rock sounds with multi-tone control, hardware

With a Duesenberg Grand Vintage humbucker on the neck and a powerful crunch bucker on the bridge, the Starplayer Special delivers premium rock tones with confident assertiveness and lively articulation. The innovative Multi-Tone Control not only allows for smooth treble roll-offs, but also for biting single-coil sounds when fully turned up. Last but not least, a steel saddle bridge, an aluminum tailpiece and Duesenberg Z-Tuners complete the Starplayer Special Black electric guitar.
