The workmanship on this thing is very good, and it feels sturdy enough. However, i dont know if its just my rooms acoustics, but i have noticed that the bass and snare are fairly thin. The frontplate is three-ply, with a fair amount of wood in the middle, so it might be less reponsive because of that.
(Some may like its sound, it has a fairly slap-like tone to it).
Delivery took a while, but I got a response and an apology, so not much to complain about here.
Price wise, I would suggest going for a Meinl Artisan instead- I have tried one of those in a music store and I was really impressed.
