The long-awaited successor to the Stylophone Beatbox goes by the name Stylophone Beat and also comes from Dübreq. Compared to its predecessor, a lot has changed; the iconic stylus pen for playing the twelve circular metal pads is of course part of the basic equipment here as well. The simple loop sequencer gives access to twelve one-bar patterns and can be freely adjusted in playback speed. Another new feature is the separate bass track, which has a range of one octave. The four sample-based drum kitseach contain twelve sounds that range stylistically from old-school hip-hop to new Wave to techno. In addition, there are four Bass sounds, which strike sonically in the same notch. The practical drummer gets heard via the built-in speaker, a jack output is for headphones, but can also be used as an audio output. Three AA batteries are required for power supply (not included). With the Stylophone Beat, fun and spontaneity are clearly in the foreground; simply sample a few sounds or beats in the computer, integrate them into the new track and enjoy the special sound character.
