TELEPATHY - A Full voice Analog Synthesizer
With TelepathyDreadbox presents a storable synth voice with analog signal path and MIDI. On only 10HP the synthesizer voice achieves an astonishing density of functions and does more than one might expect at first glance. The completely analog signal path consists of an oscillator with sawtooth and square waveforms including PWM as well as a suboscillator. This mixture goes first through a resonant 24dB Lowpass filter and then through a resonant 12dB Highpass filter. The last element in the signal path is the VCA. The Telepathy has a good analog sound with a strong dreadbox character. But that's not all, the assertive sound is brought to life digitally with a freely assignable Complex LFO as well as two envelopes (even with velocity) and a CV input that is also freely addressable. To ensure that the sounds created do not remain a snapshot, Dreadbox has implemented 16 memory locations for custom sounds (or starting points). Telepathy can be played via the Pitch and Gate inputs or MIDI. The MIDI-TRS input opens up further possibilities, all parameters can be automated via program change and the presets can be selected (program change). Up to eight Telepathy modules can be cascaded thanks to multitimbral chaining, so that you can create a polyphonic synthesizer with a maximum of eight voices using only this module and a mixer module with a matching number of inputs.
