Dowina Danubius DCE Sunburst

With the Danubius DCE Sunburst, Slovak manufacturer Dowina completes its affordable Antique series and a traditional dreadnought Western guitar that includes a powerful sound as well as a promising construction. A massive body consisting of a solid cedar top enriches the sound with powerful and warm midrange frequencies that unfold perfectly and racy thanks to a razor-thin open-pore finish. The instrument owes the necessary substance in the basses to a laminated Macassar ebony body, which also shapes the visual appearance with its coarse textures and inclusions in a very aesthetic way. and to enable the highest possible playability, the manufacturer relies on a slim Nato neck, which is equipped with an ebony fingerboard and is easy and clean to grip due to a nut width of 45 mm and a scale length of 650 mm. Clean intonation in all 20 frets is ensured by a bridge inlay and a saddle made of the finest bone material, which are matched to each other with millimeter precision. The instrument is decorated with elaborate wooden bindings and an eye-catching Herringbone soundhole rosette, which is another visual highlight along with the Intial "D" inlaid on the headstock. Completing the Dowina Danubius DCE-ds is an L.R. Baggs Stage Pro pickup system, which includes a 3-band Equalizer as well as a tuner.
