The Dowina Acero GACE-ds from the Slovakian guitar manufacturer’s Master series is an impressive instrument with lovingly handcrafted details and an outstanding selection of wood. Accordingly, this Grand Auditorium delivers an exceptional sonic radiance, which is transmitted naturally and dynamically by the L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup.
Only the best woods are used in the high-end Master series from the guitar manufacturer on the blue Danube. Accordingly, this solid Grand Auditorium comes with a Dolomite spruce top and a corpus of chic curly maple and thus resonates with warm, well defined basses, radiant and vocal mid-range, as well as brilliant highs.
A mahogany binding, an abalone rosette and mother-of-pearl maple leaf in the twelfth fret complete the picture of this beauty. In addition, a compensated bone bridge inlay provides clean intonation and a flat string position, while gold-plated die-cast mechanisms ensure tuning stability and precise tuning. The Dowina Acero GACE-ds turns out to be a true "all-rounder" and is therefore suitable for many musical styles.
The L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup is certainly one of the best acoustic pickups that a manufacturer has brought to market. Accordingly, the Anthem is able to exploit the full potential of a microphone to capture the real and natural sound of the guitar. It proves to be extremely feedback-resistant and delivers the fidelity and dynamics of a high-end studio microphone.
The Under-Saddle-Pickup element only supports the microphone at low frequencies and can be easily added to the "Mix" control via the control unit at the upper end of the sound hole. Furthermore, a volume control and a button for phase switching are available in order to regulate the volume as well as to largely exclude possible feedback.
