Doepfer A-189-1 VC Voltage Controlled Bit Modifier/ Bit Cruncher

The Doepfer A-189-1 is a voltage controlled bit modifier module for the Eurorack A-100 system. A great effect module for the first time modular rack builder, the A-189 features voltage controlled algorithmic functions such as bit crushing and bit shifting. There are 15 modes of effects with two control units, one for the algorithmic function and one for the sampling rate. There are so many different sounds from subtle and crunchy to blown out madness which makes the A-189-1 a great unit for the experimental at heart.
