The Doepfer A-100P9 Modular Synthesizer Case is a transportable Eurorack suitcase for modular synthesizers. The case has an internal power supply, is 9U (3 x 3U) and 84 HP usable width.
The main features of the Doepfer A-100P9 Modular Synthesizer Case include:
The PSU3 switching power supply built into the A-100P9 processes an input voltage of 100-240 volts AC and is therefore suitable for use in the USA or worldwide, for example. Please note that we do not supply a suitable power cable outside the EU.
I have a Behringer Go unit, its good, but for touring and physical robustness this Doepfer flight case is the business.
Solid, plenty of inputs, no issues with power supply (came with UK and European leads) and a joy to add my eurorack modules. So good, I'm buying a 2nd. Not the cheapest, but these will last me a lifetime.
Really impressed with how stunning this case looks in real life. I started planning my new Eurorack build with the low cost wooden version (Which I've used before and is perfectly fine) but decided I'd just invest in the flight case version because of its classic aesthetic. My only criticism of this case is that there is a slight gap at the end of the rain, the way in which the holes are placed on the rack. Seems to be a common design flaw with all. I can overlook it but it would have been better if they all fit tightly together to prevent gaps. Something I've also noticed is the great price fluctuation as of late from all vendors. At the time I bought this, I paid £549. I don't know what causes the dramatic price fluctuation but I'm guessing this is linked to current stock levels in the UK / Europe / the value of currency which is fluctuating a lot in recent times and perhaps materials supply issues due to supply chains in Europe. If you're thinking of buying this, make sure you keep an eye on the prices on all websites before buying and get the best deal. DV247 was the best deal at the time of purchase and had it in stock in the UK.
