The Diezel Amplification Herbert Pedal packs the brute high-gain distortion of its full-size relative into a compact pedal that can be used both as a pre-amp and as a classic stomp-box. With its intensive distortions, extremely tight low-end and finely tuneable midrange spectrum, this pedal is not afraid of lower tuned extended range guitars, and proves to be the ideal sound tool for modern players. The 3-band equalizer in combination with the Presence and Deep controls allow for optimal tailoring of the sound, whilst the switchable mid-cut thins out the midrange spectrum for the typical scooped sounds. Via the To Clean Amp output, the Diezel Herbert can be used as a classic distortion pedal in front of a guitar amp. In contrast, the To Power Amp In socket allows direct connection to a power amplifier, even via the return of a serial effect path, so that the pedal acts as an independent pre-amp.
