Dateq SPL-2 MK2 Program Limiter at a glance
The SPL-2 limiter from Dateq is the smallest member of the SPL family. The device is officially approved and can be sealed at the front. The microcontroller built into the SPL-2 MK2 permanently monitors the input signal and regulates the output signal so that the maximum sound pressure remains below a specified limit. As SPL limiters are not peak limiters, the dynamics of the music remain unchanged. The sensitivity of the input signal (threshold value) and the attenuation of the output signal (output level) can be adjusted on the SPL2. After installation, all connections and control elements can be sealed to prevent any subsequent changes.
