Versatile overdrive effect pedal for electric bass
Versatile and perfectly tuned overdrive sounds between juicy crunch and brute fuzz are the specialty of the Darkglass Microtubes X7. Equipped with variable high-pass and low-pass filters, the pedal divides the bass signal into a high frequency range for the CMOS distortion and a low frequency range, which remains clean for pressure and definition, and which can be greased with the associated compressor if desired. The cutoff frequencies can be precisely selected using the corresponding controls, while separate level controls allow the ratio between high-pass and low-pass signal to be optimally tuned. For final sound tuning, the Darkglass Microtubes X7 also features a graphical 4-band equalizer that precisely intervenes in the character-shaping frequency ranges.
