The Luminal Booster Ultra from Darkglass is an effect pedal for electric bass that functions as a comprehensive sound toolbox and can give your bass sound a detailed fine-tuning. With a 6-band EQ, a wide frequency range from 80 Hz to 5 kHz can be processed, allowing flexible sound control. Four bands between 250 Hz and 3 kHz allow extensive sound shaping, while the low shelf slider (80 Hz) and the high shelf slider (5 kHz) can be used to cleanly contour both the lowest and highest frequencies. In addition, various controls offer an additional basic cut of the clean signal to compress the sound cleanly or to blow it cleanly with a gain boost. The Luminal Booster Ultra can thus give the original sound a unique character and, thanks to its versatile setting parameters, offers the sound that suits you and your genre.
The XLR DI output offers the option of using up to seven cab sims, allowing the signal to be sent directly to a PA or interface. Thanks to USB-C, seven user-defined IRs can be loaded onto the pedal from a PC or Mac, providing an authentic playing feel. This makes the Luminal Booster Ultra an extremely practical sound construction kit for Studio and stage, while the compact design and low weight of 430g make the pedal a road-ready companion.
