The DW Contemporary Classic Shell Set in Black Oyster is based on the drumsets of the 1950s and consists of 7 layers of poplar wood with an inner and outer layer of mahogany, plus a reinforcing ring. The noble Black Oyster foil finish and the 7771 Rail Mount Vintage Tomholder underline the successful retro character very harmoniously. The keynote of the shells is very short and full with a lot of bass. In combination with the Remo Emperor heads in Smooth White on all toms a warm, deep attack is created with which vintage drum sound as well as modern rock or pop sound is perfectly served. The DW True Pitch tuning rods guarantee high tuning stability. The DW Classics Series is hand-built in the U.S.A. and meets the same quality standards as the DW Collector's Series.
