DAS Audio VANTEC-20A at a glance

The VANTEC-20A is an active 2-way line array with a fixed angle, which enables a variety of applications for small to medium sound reinforcement tasks with the simplest handling and outstanding quality. Equipped with a DAS Audio 12F4C low-midrange driver with 3" voice coil and two M-65 1" tweeters with 1.75" voice coil, the VANTEC-20A offers a maximum level of 135dB with a frequency response of 65Hz to 20kHz. The two 1" pressure chamber drivers act on a wave former with a dispersion pattern of 90°x15°.

The high-quality housing made of birch multiplex with ISOflex™ polyurethane coating is equipped with fully integrated, precisely manufactured flight hardware and allows arrays with up to 5 units and a resulting maximum vertical coverage angle of 75°. For use on a tripod or distance rod, a 35mm tripod flange is available which can be adjusted +/- 13.5°.

In addition to the already convenient operation via DAScontrol™ with LCD display and encoder, the VANTEC-20A can also be operated via the DASlink™ app and allows HD audio streaming via Bluetooth, even in stereo. In addition to classic signal processing, including FIR filters, the powerful 24-bit DSP offers acoustic adaptation in the low-mid range for the number of modules used, as well as adaptation of the HF range to the sound reinforcement depth. The DASlink™ Group Manager app allows control and monitoring via smartphone or tablet, offers the option of grouping speakers and quickly and easily setting standardized parameters such as gain, presets or EQs and also provides an overview of the input levels.

In addition to the LCD display and encoder, the connection panel offers an XLR input with parallel output and two powerCON connections. The VANTEC-20A is equipped with weather protection as standard.
