The D'Addario NYXL0942 Super Light Guitar Strings 09-42 is a set of six strings for an electric guitar. The NYXL0942 set features a  light gauge to offer light tension and ease of play. Constructed with a newly engineered, break-resistant, high-carbon steel core and plain steel alloy, these strings offer the player a revolutionary level of freedom and power.

Thanks to a completely reinvented wire drawing process and revolutionary “fusion twist” process for the plain steels, the NYXL’s offer 20-40% more strength and up to 131% greater tuning stability. The reformulated nickel-plated string windings have greater magnetic properties resulting in a higher output and enhanced mid-range frequency response for more presence and crunch.
