The Crumar Mojo61B Additional Manual Keyboard for the Mojo61 is an optional lower manual keyboard that does not require an additional power supply or special tools to make the two keyboards stay together. The Mojo61 simply sits on top of the lower manual, aligned thanks to the rubber feet matching with holes on the bottom keyboard. A single special MIDI cable will connect both units for power and data. This optional lower manual keyboard can accomodate the optional Half-Moon Rotary Switch that is easily attached/detached by two hand screws and a TRS jack cable. You can use the "high trigger" point on the lower manual as well as on the upper manual.
The main features of the Crumar Mojo61B Additional Manual Keyboard for the Mojo61 include:
I've owned the Mojo 61 for six months now and I've been gigging with it weekly in a rock/blues band. I also take pipe organ lessons from my church organist. I decided to purchase the lower manual to aide with my organ lessons and I have to say it was worth every penny.
Pros: Excellent key-bed! My neighbor has a Hammond A-100 and this thing feels every bit as good as that, if not better because it's not 60 years old.
It's plug and play. Literally 1 midi plug from the lower to the mojo and you're set! No extra power chord, etc.
Cons: The wood accent on the side does not match the the Mojo 61 upper AT ALL! The upper has a nice cherry stain that shows little to no grain. The lower has more of a walnut stain that shows a lot of grain. If I has any less self esteem I'd never gig with it and I would cover it up whenever guests come over. Also, the wood itself is not the best quality. There is a noticeable nick out of the wood on the front left side.
All in all I still highly recommend this lower manual if you own a Mojo 61. There is a possibility that wood doesn't match because I bought the Mojo in the States and the lower from Germany.
