Super Strat for rockers and metalheads
The Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH FR M Gamera Black is a classic Super Strat with Seymour Duncan pickups and Floyd Rose Tremolo the perfect electric guitar for rock and metal. While the classic contour body design with fast maple "Speed Neck" promises first-class playing characteristics, the proven Duncan Distortion pickup Set creates the basis for aggressive high-gain sounds of the first order.
The Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH FR M Gamera Black is a classically designed super strat for rock and metal.
Traditional design with optimized handling
The Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH FR combines the guitar design that has proven itself since the Fifties with contemporary optimizations of playing comfort to create a particularly agile electric guitar for shredders. While the alder contour body fits the player comfortably and stably, the bolt-on maple neck promises excellent playing characteristics from the lowest to the highest position of the ebonyfingerboard thanks to its "speed neck" profile and compound fingerboard radius.
Duncan Distortion Pickups
The electric tone conversion of the Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH FR E Gamera Black takes over with the Seymour Duncan Distortion set of the absolute classic for juicy distortion rock and metal sounds. While the Seymour Duncan SH-6n Distortion neck humbucker comes up with a powerful sound for fluid solo lines and surprisingly belly clean sounds, the extremely hot Seymour Duncan TB-6 Distortion trembucker at the bridge tickles the last ounce of gain out of the guitar amp, promising aggressive distortion sounds with a razor-sharp presentation of every note played. While the Push/Pull switch in the Volume knobsplits the humbuckers for amazingly authentic single-coil sounds, the No-Load circuit takes the fully turned-up Tone knob out of the signal path for an extremely direct and pristine sound.
Floyd Rose Tremolo
As a true super strat, the Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH FR M Gamera Black naturally comes with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Double-Locking Tremolo, which not only convinces with its buttery-smooth handling but also keeps the guitar unshakably in the correct tuning even after the heaviest dive-bombs and squeals. On the traditionally designed headstock, Charvel Die-Cast tuners also guarantee high precision when tuning the electric guitar.

Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH FR M Gamera Black
Great guitar. Despite having high output pickups the clean sounds are very nice. It leans towards high end frequencies, which I like a lot, and plays very well. Clangy, textured sound. Drives an amp very well. I love it.
