The H4MIDI WC from CME is a practical USB host MIDI interface for routing, filtering and mapping MIDI data. The device connects master keyboards, controllers, computers, synthesizers, drum machines and samplers and integrates USB where it is needed. Do you want to connect your old rack sampler to a USB keyboard and perhaps also control it with an old controller from the pre-USB era? The master clock from the DAW should only be output on port 2, the hookline comes from an old keyboard with MIDI output, but is needed in Ableton? This and much more is no problem for the H4MIDI WC! Applications in combination with a full Pedalboard for guitarists are also conceivable, some pedals need a clock, others react sensitively to too much MIDI data and some need to fulfill a task in a USB context; another plus point for the H4MIDI WC. The box forwards MIDI data of any type to multiple receivers without loss. All common parameters from the MIDI protocol such as notes, controller, clock, SysEx, timecode and MPE are processed and transmitted. Power is primarily supplied via the USB-C port; as the interface also works standalone without a computer, it can also be operated with a separately available power supply unit.
