Thanks to its compact construction, the Breedlove Oregon
Due to its solid body made of myrtlewood (Californian laurel), the acoustic guitar produces a very powerful and warm sound even with light strums. Due to the compact construction, the bass and mid frequencies are particularly prominent, making the instrument suitable for both vocal accompaniment and solos. Furthermore, the maple neck is extremely easy to grip, which is not least due to the flat neck profile. So even complex finger patterns can be easily mastered on the entire ebony fingerboard.
The compensated bridge inlay and 44.5mm wide nut are crafted from GraphTech TUSQ, ensuring that every note is produced cleanly. At the same time, the nickel-plated die-cast tuners ensure precise tuning of the strings, which end in an ebony bridge. The modern headstock gives the instrument a very individual appearance, which is enriched with an elaborate herringbone purfling and a corresponding soundhole rosette.
