German-language music has gained enormous popularity in recent years and, in addition to legends such as Reinhard Mey or Udo Lindenberg, has brought forth a host of new outstanding musicians such as Andreas Bourani or LEA. The rejection of German lyrics by radio stations and the public is now a thing of the past. Singer-songwriters are conquering our hearts, telling us unequivocally what they have to say, and showing that this can also be done in German.

Songpoeten contains a selection of German-language hits from the past and present, showing the full range of this genre. The songs are notated for piano, voice and guitar with notes, lyrics, chord symbols and fingering charts. Thus, they can also be played in larger ensembles and expand the repertoire of a band or make a valuable contribution to modern music lessons.
