The Boss CUBE Street II in the video:
Battery powered amplifier for guitar and vocals
With the Boss CUBE Street II Black, the next generation of the extremely popular battery amplifier for guitar and vocals enters the stage. With increased power and refined features, the CUBE Street II is the perfect amp for singer/songwriters, street musicians and bands looking for a practical all-in-one solution for small gigs.
Stereo amp with two times 10 watts and two 6.5" speakers
At the heart of the CUBE Street II is a stereo power amplifier, which provides surprisingly high volume reserves with two 10 watt outputs. Two 6.5" speakers radiating upwards at an angle also provide a pleasantly wide stereo panorama with detailed reproduction. To extend the playing time in battery mode, the Stereo Amp offers an Eco mode with reduced output power.
Mic/Instrument Channel
The Mic/Instrument channel of the Boss Cube Street II amplifier is designed for amplifying vocals or keyboards and acoustic instruments with pickups. In addition to the 3-band tone control for perfectly adjusting the sound, this channel offers a reverb effect and a harmonizer that provides additional vocal harmonies with incredible naturalness.
Instrument/Mic Channel
The Instrument/Mic channel specializes in amplifying acoustic and electric guitars. For this purpose, the CUBE Street II provides three acoustic presets and four amp simulations, each of which is supplemented by a setting for microphones or other instruments with pickups. In addition to the gain and volume controls and a 3-band EQ for the sound, the instrument/mic channel offers three effects in the form of reverb, chorus and delay.
Looper, Recording and Streaming
In addition, the Boss CUBE Street II amp is equipped with a handy 45-second looper that helps create songs on-the-fly. Moreover, the amp turns out to be a handy platform for recording and streaming. In addition to the USB audio interface, the Cube Street II offers an i-CUBE connection that, in conjunction with a smartphone or tablet, enables live streams with the best sound.
Prepared for Bluetooth
The Boss CUBE Street II also offers preparation for the optional Boss BT-Dual Bluetooth Adapter, which adds wireless MIDI and music playback capability to the battery amplifier. In conjunction with the optional BT-Dual adapter, the Boss CUBE Street II Editor and CUBE JAM apps can also be used.
This is a rugged, portable, versatile amp/small PA. I’ve been impressed by the features available and the sound quality is really good and for its size and wattage makes a big sound.
