With the BC-1X Bass Comp, the Japanese effects specialists present an innovative multiband compressor for E-Bass. Thanks to the intelligent circuitry based on Boss Multi-Dimensional Processing, the BC-1X reacts in real time to the playing style and provides each frequency band with the optimal compression, thus guaranteeing a powerful and transparent Bass sound.
Straightforward operation
Intelligent Multi-Dimensional Processing allows the BC-1X's multiband compression to be adjusted with a straightforward control panel. Accordingly, the Threshold control determines the signal strength at which compression kicks in, as usual. The Ratio pot also selects the intensity at which the compressor kicks in, while the Release kn ob sets the decay time until the end of compression. Thanks to its 18-volt input circuitry, Boss' BC-1X Bass Comp also offers plenty of headroom for use with active or passive electric basses.
