The portable active Bose Sub1 subwoofer can be combined with virtually any portable PA system and delivers a low frequency response down to 40Hz. The unique 7"×13" high-excursion RaceTrack driver can keep up with a conventional 12-inch woofer, but without the bulky size.
This futuristic design offers an impressive combination of high quality sound and compact size. The unique shape of the RaceTrack driver allows the cabinet to be made slimmer without compromising sound quality. This gives you more space in the vehicle and on stage. Transportation into the car or from the car to the venue is made much easier.
The Bose Sub1 is the more compact option for the Bose L1 Pro32 system, into which the subwoofer seamlessly integrates via the proprietary SubMatch connector. The result is a modular line array system that is easy to pack, transport and set up. This single-cable connection greatly simplifies setup: the system's crossover and EQ settings are automatically configured for optimal sound - all from a single electrical outlet, since power and audio are supplied via the SubMatch cable. Just plug the L1 Pro32 into the power supply and you're ready to go.
If you place several Sub1 subwoofers on top of each other, you can get even more powerful bass and you can use the cardioid mode with directional bass. This mode is ideal for outdoor events and prevents low frequency feedback on stage and from the microphones. The bass doesn't spread out on stage or annoy the neighbors, but concentrates the bass forward, so it's in exactly the right place.
