The Blackstar St. James JJN 50H Head Racing Green is the amplifier of choice for up-and-coming US guitarist Jared James Nichols. Originally based on the design of the Blackstar St. James, the two-channel St. James JJN 50H Head offers customized voicing specifically designed for Jared's juicy blues-rock leads. Two ECC83 preamp tubes provide the appropriate distortion reserves, while the 50 watts of output power resulting from two EL34 power amp tubes can easily fill larger gigs with sound. Thanks to the integrated load resistor and additional power reduction, the smart head can even be used at home and for recording purposes without any problems. Also on board are three selectable cab rig speaker simulations for use with headphones or via the balanced XLR output, and the JJN 50H Head can also be used as an audio interface via the USB connection.
