Blackstar's ID:Core Stereo 10 V2 modeling amplifier is the perfect bedroom amplifier for practicing in between and a solid sound foundation for an enormous variety of sounds thanks to 6 different voices from clean to overdrive. The 10 watt amp has the in-house Super Wide Stereo technology and is capable of reproducing both backing tracks recorded via AUX and your own guitar signal at the same time transparently and dispersively. Last but not least, an effect section consisting of modulation, reverb and delays offers enough leeway, while the integrated tuner puts you in the right mood at any time.

As a basis, various amplifier configurations are available, from clear and distortion-free clean amps with enormous headroom to crunched sounds and high gain overdrive channels. Gain controls are used to control the more distorting channels in particular, while the EQ button determines the frequency to be emphasized. This so-called Infinite Shape Feature (ISF Control) enables a smooth transition from more American-style, aggressive US sound to pithy Brit voicing.
In addition, the ID:Core Stereo 10 V2 offers some useful modulation effects as well as four different reverb and delay sounds each for atmospheric intros and epic lead work. Jamming to playalongs can also be done via a 3.5mm line in connection, while the Phones Out mutes the internal speaker when headphones are connected.
Blackstar Insider & PreSonus Studio One
For best PC connectivity, the ID:Core Stereo 10 V2 comes with a special Blackstar version of the popular PreSonus Studio One audio software, which allows you to easily record your riffs via the USB port or even the headphone jack. If you prefer to tinker with your individual sounds with keyboard and mouse instead of turning knobs, you can use the free Blackstar Insider software, which greatly simplifies editing and saving your own presets.
