Rachael is Deckard's sidekick from Ridley Scott's science fiction classic Blade Runner and thanks to the Black Corporation a high-quality add-on module for the Synthvoice "Deckard's Voice". The fully analogue module is not necessarily dependent on DV and can be used as a very independent multimodule that combines several functions. On the one hand, the extremely clean ring modulator offers two inputs and one output. The oscillator can optionally work as an LFO and is equipped with the waveforms square, sawtooth and sine. The VCO/LFO also has its own output and is normalized to one of the ring modulator's inputs. The last element of Rachael is the ADSR envelope, which corresponds in control times and curve behaviour to the envelope from Deckard's Voice. Since each of the four envelope phases has its own CV input, extremely lively modulations can be realized with the help of additional control voltage sources. With clever wiring, Rachael does not need more than a sequencer or a MIDI-CV/Gate interface to sound.
