With an impressive list of features, which includes the Premium XENYX Mic Preamps, “One-Knob” compression, British EGs and a dual 24-Bit onboard effects section, just to name a few, the new Behringer UFX1604 is one of the most extensively and well equipped compact mixers available. Thanks to the integrated 16 x 4 USB/FireWire interface, concerts and jam sessions can be recorded to an external hard-drive or directly on a computer for later editing. The Transport section can be used as a remote for your computer based DAW software via MIDI.
The dual effects engines are highly usable, while the monitor-control section is surprisingly well equipped. Includes DAW Software Tracktion to Compose, Record, Mix & Share. The mono channels each benfit from simple but usable one-knob compressors.
