The Behringer XR12 is a digital mixer in the form of a stagebox. It can be remotely controlled via the integrated router with Wi-Fi using external media devices such as tablets or PCs. All common system requirements such as iOS, Android, Mac and Linux are compatible.
Features
The XR 12 is equipped with 4 microphone inputs, which are combo jacks for XLR and jack. The microphone inputs are equipped with MIDAS preamplifiers, which are mainly characterized by their low noise. The other 8 inputs are jack sockets, to which both guitar, bass, keyboard, as well as MP3 players, as other line signals can be connected. A gate, a 4-band EQ and a compressor can be switched on per channel via the app.
Effects and connections
The DSP has an extensive collection of effects that can also be assigned to each channel. This also applies to the output channels, which are equally equipped with a compressor, a 6-band equalizer or with a 31-band graphic equalizer, in order to be able to optimally adjust the sound in difficult environments. The USB port allows a stereo signal to be recorded as well as the stereo sum to be played out for recording. A controller, such as the Behringer X Touch series, can be connected via the Midi interface, so that analog access via faders and pots for mixing is also possible. Included is the rugged XR12 with rack brackets to allow it to be rack mounted as well.
If you make music in a smaller formation, have sound reinforcement with voice applications, then you are very well advised with the XR 12.
i use the behringer x air xr12 for live synth playing and modular set up. it has lots of inputs and the software ware it comes with is nice to work with. midi is nice welcome. works well with my squarp sequencer for price wise it cant be beaten on performance nice unit to have in the rack
If you need a few preamps and a digital mix, look no furthe. The FX are more than acceptable for live use and its tiny! The software is easy to use and is available on pretty much every platform, I class the sound as warm and we defined, highs arent harsh and the Mids and Bass are rich enough to make even a modest PA sound great.. Well Done Behringer! Again!
