Simple sound calls for the simply great Behringer XENYX 802. The compact XENYX 802 mixers (2 Mic, 2 Stereo + Aux Returns) make first-class sound effortless, thanks to the 2 phantom-powered XENYX Mic Preamps and ultra-musical "British" Channel EQ.
All XENYX mixers have one thing in common: the high-sounding, high-headroom XENYX Mic Preamps. These state-of-the-art mic pres represent an important step in the evolution of audio technology - and they easily hold their own against even the most expensive standalone mic preamps. XENYX preamps offer an amazing 130 dB dynamic range with a bandwidth from below 10 Hz to well over 200 kHz. Equipped with these outstanding mic preamps, XENYX mixers offer such transparent and crystal clear reproduction.
The 8-input, 2-bus Behringer XENYX 802 features two XENYX mic preamps with +48 V phantom power, allowing 2 dynamic or condenser microphones to be used. The British 3-band EQ is praised in the audio engineering world for its warm, musical sound. You can use the effect send and return jacks for connection to external effects, and the built-in RCA CD / tape inputs (main mix or control room / phones assignable).
Built down to a price clone of popular prosumer brand mixer. Small and cheap enough to be useful. Everything functions as it should. Got a nice electric shock unplugging an unbalanced jack from ch1 line with phantom power switched on.
Is a small desk for 40 pounds. There's not much else to say. It's easy to use. I dislike the fact that you can't turn up the headphones without the master switch being turned up. Recommend this product.
