This a great little mixer. For live I’m running three mics and an acoustic and for iPhone recording running 2 mics, acoustics and a foot stomper plus a backing track at times. FX are basic but liven things up. Does what it says on the tin. Great for the money.
I have only been using this mixer for a short period of time. However, having had many a Behringer product in the past (including a larger model) I am confident it will stay the test of time. The pre-amps appear to be clean as a whistle and all the ins and outs that I am using are perfect. The onboard reverb is surprisingly effective, although a list of the settings in the manual would be nice, rather than having to work it out by trial and error.
My requirements were: Cheap - tick Tonne of inputs - tick FX for vocals - tick
Cons: No on off switch Came with an EU power supply, but they also shipped a UK adaptor with it. That would only be a mild annoyance but it fizzes in the socket so it's unusable without risk of death until a UK power supply I ordered (Behringer PSU6-UK Power Supply for other people looking) shows up sometime between now and August (it's out of stock eeeeverywhere). 1 star knocked off for that.
