The U-Phoria Studio Bundle from Behringer consists of the essential components needed for digital recording: The central element of the package is the Uphoria UMC202HD USB-Interface with 2 audio inputs and a professional conversion rate of 24bit/192kHz. In addition, brand-name Midas preamps are installed. The C-1 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone and is designed for speech, vocals and acoustic instruments, but is generally suitable for all purposes. Finally, the package includes the HPS5000 studio headphones and the cables needed to get started.
This is my first experience with setting up a digital audio workstation. After some research, I decided to buy the Behringer U-Phoria Studio Pro set. Fairly easy to set up , even for a complete beginner like me. Once I remembered to switch on the phantom power switch at the back, my microphone picked up everything. Huge improvement on the built in microphone I'd been using. Connecting everything up was straightforward, and I look forward to working with the interface, microphone and headset to record music and singing on to Garageband. Really excellent value for money.
